After seeing the move, "Le Divorce," I became obsessed with a red Kelly bag. I purchased this
red Kelly-style bag from an Italian company, Pierotucci, a few years ago for about 1/10th the cost of an Hermès Kelly. The quality of materials and workmanship on this bag are excellent. It's a gorgeous classic red with white contrast stitching and gold hardware. The leather is slightly pebbled to resist scractches and marks. It turns out the bag was just a bit too structured for my style, and I've rarely worn it. Even now I'm torn about selling it, but I hope someone who really loves this classic style will give it a good home. Asking $450 + shipping.
Bag dimensions are 12.5" L x 9" H x 4" D. Comes with removable shoulder strap, dustbag, gold lock and key.

I immediately recognized this bag from the movie. I know it wouldn't work for me and my lifestyle so I won't even bother lusting after it...but part of me wants it sooooo bad!
ReplyDeleteIs the bag still available? The one thing about the movie "Le Divorce" that cracked me up is that ALL of the ads featuring Naomi Watts and Kate Hudson had a red Birkin bag and not the red Kelly bag! Heavens, the red crocodile Kelly bag was as much a part of the story as those two women.
